• 1 Looseleaf 3-ring Binder
• 1 Spiral Notebook
• 1 Folder (may replace with 3-hole punch)
• Black or Blue Pens
• Several well sharpened #2 Pencils
• Colored Pencils

STUDENTS MUST BRING NOTEBOOKS AND A WRITING UTENSIL EVERY DAY

HOMEWORK

Homework will be assigned regularly. You are responsible for checking the class website to see the due dates of all assignments.

GRADING POLICY

• Tests, papers, projects = 65 %
• Quizzes = 15 %
• Labs = 7.5 %
• Homework / Class Participation = 7.5 %
• Textbook Notebook = 5 %
• Final Grade Determined by the following:
  MP1 + MP2 + MP3 + MP4 = 90 %
  REGENTS = 10 %

LATE POLICY

Homeworks will NEVER be accepted late, unless there are extenuating circumstances.

If absent, ALL tests and quizzes must be made up in a timely manner; otherwise a grade of ZERO will be entered.  It is your responsibility to ensure you make up these in a timely manner.

Any projects, or long term assignments, that are handed in late will have the grade lowered accordingly.

TEXTBOOK NOTEBOOK

All students will be expected to keep a running "Textbook Notebook".  Each week a particular chapter will be posted on the class website.  It is your responsibility to take notes on that chapter.  A rubric showing the scoring of the textbook notebook will be distributed.
