Smartphone Configuration

To connect a Smartphone to the new mail server, users must choose “Activsync,” “Corporatesync,” “Microsoft Exchange,” or “Microsoft Outlook Web Access” client type on their phone. If none of these are available, the phone cannot be connected.

Below are the settings you will need:

Server:
mail.greatneck.k12.ny.us

Email Address:
JUSER@GREATNECK.K12.NY.US

Username:
JUSER0101 (use this if phone has a separate field for domain) or
JUSER0101@greatneck.k12.ny.us or

greatneck\JUSER0101

Domain:
greatneck or greatneck.k12.ny.us (depends on phone)

OWA url:
https://mail.greatneck.k12.ny.us

Any time your Active Directory password is changed, you will need to update the password that is stored in your phone to be consistent with the new password.


We will not be able to provide support for personal phones. The necessary information to connect has been supplied above but if users need help with their phones, they must contact their mobile phone service provider.
